SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:

Our default method for standard shipping on domestic orders is UPS Ground, and shipping fees are based on their actual rates.  Currently, we ship only to the continental United States.  Orders shipped to a PO Box or APO/FPO address will be delivered via USPS Priority unless the order qualifies for USPS First Class.

Orders are processed on weekdays (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays) and most packages ship from our warehouse in Greenwich, CT within 5-7 business days from the time your order is placed, pending credit card approval.

Most orders will arrive 7-10 business days after your order is placed (orders shipped to a military address may take up to 2-6 weeks for delivery).

Please contact us directly at ready@blackumbrella.com if you have not received your order within the expected time frame for delivery. UPS claims can be initiated as early as 1 business day after the scheduled delivery date and are usually resolved within 8 business days (international orders may take additional time).

Orders sent via USPS (First Class excluded) are tracked by the US post office, and insurance claims are filed through a third party provider. The soonest we can file a claim is 30 days after the original shipment date for domestic orders. You are also required to provide a signed letter before the claim can be initiated.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:

Simply mail your unused items back within 30 days of purchase for a full refund (minus shipping charges) to our fulfillment center.  We recommend purchasing tracking and insurance on the delivery. Kits must be returned in original condition, with the individual components in them unused, to the following address:

All product returns must be shipped back in their original packaging and must include all accessories and components in the kit, and must be sent within 30 days from submission to be eligible for a refund.

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% if the kits, components or packaging are returned in poor condition, including the right to not issue a refund at all if the return is missing components or accessories.

EXCHANGES:

In some cases, we may exchange individual items in the kits if they are reported defective or damaged on arrival.  To request an exchange, please order your replacement kit online or call us at 1-646-470-6770 to place a new order. You’ll be charged for this new order when it ships, and once we receive your return, a separate refund will be processed to your original form of payment.
